synopsis:

13-year-old Bartek tries desperately to hide the fact that his father beats him. Lonely and with no support from his mother or his school, tyrannised by his soccer coach, the boy finds his only friend in an old dying stray dog.

"Męska sprawa" to dramat opowiadający o losach trzynastoletniego chłopca z ubogiej łódzkiej rodziny. Dziecko jest narażone na przemoc ze strony ojca, matka ma nisko płatną pracę. Sytuacja rodzinna jest bardzo trudna, w szkole z chłopcem są problemy wychowawcze. Jedyną jego pasją jest piłka nożna. Trenuje w szkolnej drużynie prowadzonej przez chorobliwie despotycznego trenera. Jego przyjacielem jest pies ze schroniska dla zwierząt. Problemy, z którymi boryka się na co dzień, często go przerastają, nie jest w stanie im podołać.....

He locked himself because he wants to guard "his" dog from animal sanctuary. Bearded guy is an owner of this place, he's going to get some hammer to open the door and the other men is a boy's PE teacher. He is trying to sway boy to get out from cage. But kid is afraid of adults due to home problems with his own father.
