Nowhere in the Bible does it say that pi is 3.

I assume you're referring to 1 Kings 7:23-26. If you conclude that these verses imply that pi equals three, you've made a false assumption. I assume you forgot to consider the thickness of the "molten sea".  The inner circumference is 30 cubits, but the diameter spanning the outside is 10 cubits. The word "compass" in KJV English meant to go around, not necessarily on the outside. One hand is about .22 cubits so pi=3.139 in Bible

The first proof about pi is really going to save me a lot of time. I have been computing pi by hand with a power series expansion whenever I needed to use it. Now, I'll just open the Bible and perform one division to get an exact value for this mysterious number. Thank you.

''Precious things'' would be like knives, bowls, plates and etc... a VESSEL is a VESSEL... reread it again and figure it out. Verse 6 tells you the inventory (as you call it), and verse 11 tells you the TOTALITY of the VESSELS... with the end of verse 10 comprising it! Not going to check the rest of your information as you're too silly/ignorant to read a passage and understand! The best part is MORONS read your stuff and don't bother checking it, so you can denounce the Bible!

@crazypills2 In verse 6 they tell you what is in the inventory.... The NUMBER of VESSELS is 5,400 in verse 11 (it's not the whole inventory as you call it)! In verse 10 there is only one mention of a vessel and it's plural (as in VESSELS... equalliing to a 1,000... the next line verse 11 tells you it's 5,400 in ALL... so there were 4,400 vessels that make up the last part (for 5,400).... knives aren't vessels, and etc.... would be nice if people comprehended what they read!

well pal seems you missed to learn some hebrew words and look for the original text, in 1kings 7:23 the hebrew word is "round in shape" so it is not talking about a circle but about a round shape, an elipse is a round shape, and also missed to search lets say in the temple institute or ask a rabbi ..the molten sea was a n eliptical artifact..you do the math smart guy...greetings
