Te Hei Mauriora (Behold there is life!)

*Tuurangawaewae is your main personally identifiable base from which you are able to acknowledge and maintain your identity in terms of whom you are and where you've come from. Today's world, having a sense of tuurangawaewae is as important as it ever has been, because as you travel all over the world seeking out new ideas and set out to do new and different things, it is always important to define who you are and what makes Maaori unique and different from others, Paakehaa, or any other race or creed.

  • There are 5 or 6 videos i think I've made so far of the Far far North. If they don't come up under my log in Ngatikuri1 search Ngati kuri or Te Rerenga o nga Wairua and Kotahitanga. Oh and 'How to build a bush whare'... I do have more footage but geez, when to find the time to make them up. Glad you found this one and enjoyed it anyway.

  • my grandad and nan in here.. waenga waenga...xxx

  • omg that was so nice i don't know the people on there but my nana and papa do . My papa is from Te Hapua, Aata Raharuhi. I'm Mary Lazarus. I haven't been to Te Hapua since my nana Anatia unveiling which was a very long time ago. I need to make more trips up there.
