Just to clarify things:

1. JCVD is a real Full Contact fighter (won several titles)

2. The fight has special rules stating where not to kick due to legal issues (JCVD cannot break a nose due to his movie carreer etc...)

3. Rounds are 2 minutes max

4. JCVD is training with 3 MMA fighters who all have kickboxing backgrounds.

5. Steven Seagal recently said: I watched him train and was in shock to see a man on his age make an impression like that kicking the shit out of the sparring partners

Seagal was visiting an MMA training facility where 2 of his friends train.

It was a coincidence that he saw JCVD there training against a wooden board kicking the shit out of it to get his legs stronger for the fight.

Appearently JCVD broke the board with 5 hits according to Steven.

Besides his Karate training, the gym he attended was a kickboxing gym.

So i wouldn't worry to much about that.

JCVD has won titles in karate only because he never practiced kickboxing in the ring but he is a kickboxing expert nonetheless.

@BoogieManSince1977 and sorry just to add..... i am a firm believer in the devastating power of Muay Thai..... and Logically think that Kamsing is the greater power on the field.... but Jean Claude is indeed an emotionally charged guy and emotion can Make or Break you if you don't know how to Channel it..... if JC can muster solid focus and have supreme confidence in what his style can do too, this could be a classic battle of all time or........... not..... will NOT be missing it though! :)

Kamsing's elbow move at 1.35 is what it's all about. Tenacity. His face at 1.33 while just standing kicking his opponent reeks of arrogance and confidence, an awesome fighter. Jcvd has a similar ability albeit coming from a slightly different world. There both great fighters, but Kamsing is the career long professional fighter and looks slightly detached from his humanity. Jc has a heart of gold, a genuine person no question about it.
