@NitroAmerica Agree 100%. Nostalgia funnies are the coolest thing in drag racing. Thanks for all the awesome videos BTW. Keep up the good work!

@smoberley I agree, I want original-style bodies and chassis with no front-overhang or huge rear spill plates. Old funny cars look cooler cause they more resembled the street version than the current Big Show cars do. That is one of the reasons that Pro Modified is so popular around the world...they are awesome looking race cars.

Kudos to Hale for doing it right, but Romine still went faster than anyone else with a 5.79. He's making power like everyone else (except Hale), but he's got a big aero advantage. And again, it doesn't look anything like a Mustang. It looks like a lame ass early 90s funny car with a mustang grill painted on it. Keep letting it slide, and mark my words, Nostalgia Funny Car will soon be a bunch of Olds Firenzas or some other boring garbage.

Man 5.90s no one could even compete with that :/ everyone else run 6.0s and up.

Another great video, thanks :)

THUNDERING funny cars!
Yeah, surprise, the guy with the aero advantage body (that doesn't even look like a Fox Mustang) goes the quickest. Its not even really a nostalgia car.

@smoberley To be fair, the next race at Cordova's World Series of Drag Racing, the Mike Burkhart 69 Camaro driven by John Hale went 5.67.
