Fiesta Mk5 with 1.7 puma engine conversion, Milltek 4-2-1 Performance Manifold, Milltek 200 Cell Sports CAT, Milltek Full Cat Back System, Ford Racing Remap, Pipercross Viper Induction, 300mm disk brake conversion, GMAX Sport Suspension, All Round OMP Strut Braces, Fiesta ST150 17inch Alloys.

All Work Done at PumaSpeed www.pumaspeed.co.uk by Tony and Uldis. Brilliant service by professionals. Took 2 days for conversion and what a machine it is now. Not for the faint hearted!

As you may notice the speedometer doesn't work in first gear. This is because i have removed the torque limiter in first gear which causes this problem. The switching is automatic thanks to DIY micro switch in the gear gaiter.

  • @siggers1234 ...the torque converter bypass

  • Holy Cow, sounds nice

  • @urbex2007 I appreciate you breaking away from your busy schedule to take the time to comment on my previous car. Thank you urbex2007

  • @urbex2007 Cool :) not my car anymore unfortunately, was fun modding it and it was fun to drive. Have an ST220 now, not as fun as the fez though

  • @siggers1234 oh dear, the figures keep changing all the time. Should we settle for it being much much faster than a Honda Civic Type R with twice as many BHP, but twice as slow, even slower than a standard Puma! Companies lie to get your money or quote a figure but not tell you accurately to what it refers or how it was measured. That is how the boy racer parts market works. Rolling roads measure BHP at the flywheel and wheels, people tend to quote the higher flywheel one. Keep dreaming!

  • @overweightbadger I would expect 0-60mph in under 10s if it was a 1.7. It shows that all the modifications have slowed the car down. Boy racers often suffer this way because they don't know how engines work - they just buy things based on figures plucked from the air. You should be looking at 6s 0-60mph. Someone is telling him porkies about the conversion figures and BHP. What he is looking at is the flywheel BHP, not the figure from the wheels, so subtract at least 25BHP. 140BHP is right!!!

  • to remove the torque limiter to stop me having to manually unplug it when i want it off lol

  • I thought the same mate......my mate done a puma engine conversion in his Fiesta Zetec S.....i knew it wudnt be lighting fast

But when he put his foot down i wasnt impressed at all

But the silly bugger made himself look silyl in front of every by saying 'i think it will beat my glanza'..........lmao no chance
