Chase finds his owner with a choker chain. So he throws it in the trash and brings her a Clicker.

The meaning behind this video is Positive is better than Negative! Chase and I are trying to spread the word of Positive Reinforcement and Clicker training. We ONLY use Postive Reinforcement with means we don't use no punishment or intimidation in our training. We hope you don't eithier if you do it's never to late to change! Just grab up a Clicker and train Positive! It's an Amazing way to train a dog and it's very effective! Positive Reinforcement & Clicker Training really does make your bond between you and your dog very strong! So don't be Negative be Positive and have fun with your dog while you can :) Thanks for watching! Keep on clicking and Have fun with it :)

  • Wow! Beautiful collie!

  • Chase is a great dog! I like stating the obvious. Border Collies are da' bomb.

  • Why must border collies push their bowls around before eating/drinking out of it? My BC (Nikki) does that too and it drives me crazy

  • You have a beautiful dog :)

  • I absolutely am in love with this video! My Gracie is a 10-month old border collie pointer mix. I sure hope I can teach her all these wonderful things! Thanks so much for this. :)

  • @icedevil0289 Depending on the behavior and dog, you can do one of two things. Ignore the behavior or redirect it. For something like jumping where the dog is trying to get your attention, you could ignore it and then praise the dog when they settle down so they know they only get the attention when they chill out. For something like chewing on furniture, you can redirect them by giving them a toy. This is just a really brief explanation, so feel free to look further in to clicker training. :)

  • @MsBorderCollieLover I agree with you both!! I had to learn the hard way that negitive correcting is NOT the best way to train a dog!!

  • super cool

  • this idea is great and I remember reading about using a clicker, but I'm wondering if they do something wrong, how do they know no to do it again without some kind of punishment? and by punishment I just mean like a scolding or something like that.

  • great, great idea to present the positive training! : D
