Every step by every step of the way ;) :
1. Go to http://www.r4ds-ds.com (1:24 )
2. Click on R4 DS link (in the toolbar on the left) ( 1:37 ) NB: If you need an R4 DS for any other DS, like the DSi or 3DS, choose this
3. Choose the correct R4 DS - you can set up your whole R4 with the R4 DS Card with Kingston 2GB Micro SD Card and this is usually the best option ( http://www.r4ds-ds.com/categories/R4-DS/ )
In the video, I accidentally say to only get the R4 Revolution for DS R4 Card on the http://www.r4ds-ds.co.uk site - DON'T! This doesn't come with the correct hardware to install it when you get it (you will need to make another order to get the right stuff). Get the R4 DS Card with Kingston 2GB Micro SD Card ( Go to 2:18 to see the bit)
4. Go back to the http://www.r4ds-ds.com/ and select, in the Kernel Download dropdown menu at the top of the page, R4 DS v1.18 Kernel Download ( 1:52 )
5. Download the English version (unless you're French or Korean), and then put it in a folder anywhere you like (probably on your desktop) (2:18)
6. Extract the .rar version, then quit the whole folder, you don't need it anymore (It just has to be there) ( 3:16 )
7. Plug the small SD card into the back of the USB, then plug into the computer ( 3:48 )
8. Drag and drop any .nds file games you have downloaded into the folder titled .rpg ( 4:27 )
9 If you want, create a 'Games' folder in the .rpg folder and put them in here, like I did with the Pokemon White .nds file
If you put the small SD card into the DS R4 card now, then insert into the DS, you will be able to play the game. Enjoy! (5:26 )
Hi, thanks for the video very helpful. Just a quick question: approximately how much data is the average DS game? I saw Pokemon was ~200mb, is that about the average? So 2 gigs can fit approximately ~10 games while a 32gb card would fit ~160 games.

@elohssaeht Yeah I think it's about 25 games on 4GB, not sure though. Google it :)

@SKULLYTHESKELETON Hi, I'm Oscar. I made this to help people who don't know how to use the R4 and need help with it. And if you don't like this video, why the fuck have you added it to your favourites? Learn proper English as well.

@lovelivelifepeace you have to remember that these aren't top quality products and you might get some dodgy features. it sounds like this one has died, i would recommend getting a new R4DS card - you'll still be able to play the games using your memory card. however, if the memory card has died, you will most likely have lost your games unless they are backed up - do they work when you plug the memory stick into the computer?
