DeConstruction Services hand dismantles buildings in the reverse order of the way they were built. We remove everything from the inside of the structure and then we start with roof and work down to the floorboards, removing every nail by hand. We are able to salvage up to 85% of a building's components for reuse.
I think this is fantastic. While it is always preferable to reconstruct these historic buildings, the next best alternative is to do exactly what you are doing; salvage the building materials through deconstruction.
I'm wondering how long it took to deconstruct this building from the first pulled nail to the last board loaded on the trailer?

@GraeMatterz Thank you for your support! Whole house deconstruction projects vary in length depending on the size of the project, the materials and techniques used in building the home, and various other factors. Generally projects last between one and three weeks.
