  • I actually thought this movie was a bit better than what allot of people give it credit for. Although it did have allot of problems. I have always thought that the main problem with it was not the movie itself but the choppy way it seems to have been edited together. If all the personal scenes had been in the first half leading up to the battle and the second half had all the battle scenes, like in Pearl Harbor, it might have had a smoother flow to it. I really liked it anyway.

  • @rebel2276 Hey rebel2276, noticed you sent a reply to one of my other comments, but yeah people like Shafeone are just trolls that just expect someone to reply back and start an argument so there is no use replying back to someone who is going to insult everyone they see and start aguments.

  • @rebel2276 "Was it wicker when Washington owned 300 saves?" Uh YES you moron. What do YOU think, Rebel? And your take on Lincoln is so simplistic as to be like a southern grammar school version of history. Habeus corpus and other matters of civil liberties are so far beyond your limited brain that you really should just shut up and go back to your pretend pillow fort in your basement that you call on the web "here in Afghanistan."

  • @rebel2276 I notice that you have yet to dispute it when I say you are a dirty liar who is pretending to be a soldier in "Afghanistan" even though your narrative is totally different than my family and friends' who are actually there. Perhaps you are a bathrobed overweight socially reclusive basement dwelling sot pretending to be someone he is not? So, for the umpteenth time I am calling you out "Rebel", What branch of service are you in?

  • @rebel2276 Yet again I ask you, if I am only about "one book" what then would you like to discuss? Let's talk Antietam. You game "Rebel"? Didn't think so. How does it feel to have your lie about being a soldier in Afghanistan called out as such for all to see? No one on this thread should take a scumball basement-dwelling solder wannabe like you serious about any topic accept as a study in delusional psychosis.

  • @rebel2276 I do not know who you are. But I know 100% who you are not. Unlike my relatives and friends, you are NOT an active-duty military man in Afghanistan or any other theater of operations. Unlike real historians, you are not an expert on the war save battle flags which, though interesting topics to hard-core aficionados, are irrelevant to understanding the war itself and its meanings and consequences. I know that I can talk circles around you about most topics. But you are a waste.

  • @rebel2276 First off....tell me about Franlin's slaves again? You are a an utter moron. Now as to Julia. Sorry. She was from Missouri. And Grant had exactly one slave for Hardscrabble whom he freed in 1858, five years before the EA. Julia had four and Grant's parents objected to the marriage because of her slave-owning ways. It is a complex issue and I am talking to a schrivner and a man who pretends to be a soldier when he is actually a basement dwelling troll. Just admit it.

  • @Shafeone I guess you think you know me or something, but you don't. You keep typing crap that you assume this or that. You have just developed into a troll on here with you're "I hate the South" and "I refuse to pay attention to what anyone types to me". "I have it all figured out, with my one Civil War book". Trolls come and go, you're nothing special. So keep on trolling, best you will be on this site.

  • @AUG351 Good luck with Shafeone, the newest troll on this site. I noticed he did not answer you're post back. He is just a Union-Biased amateur from Pennsylvania that pretends he knows the Civil War.

  • @RPenta Robert Duval is related to General Lee, I agree however, that Martin Sheen played General Lee much better.
