1974-ABBA was the best song of all

Have you noticed that, at first, every singer was used to sing in their OWN language ? That was better, because Eurovision is supposed to be a way for each Nation to show its culture, starting from its language. It's a shame that it's nothing more than just a song contest nowadays. As if English was really spoken all over U.E! Anyway, this programme is no longer watched, except in Easten Europe... where the votes are already sorted out according to the politics backgrounds of each country!

1956-1973 was just boring songs, but then came Waterloo 1974 and did Eurovision to a much funnier and happier competion.

not too be picky or anything but u got the year wrong. it was in 1969 there 4 winners not in 1956 since spain first made their debut in 1961
