This is great! I just started playing and most videos are too far over my ability to do me any good. Thanks! Also, go ahead and sing!! From what you sang on tips part one, I think you lack confidence not talent.

Thanks John this is really helpful for a beginner like me! I've had my uke for a couple of weeks and I love it, but I was wondering how to improve and vary my strumming a bit so thanks very much =)

Great job dude. I'm a beginner and these kind of tips are fantastic for making playing more interesting. Please post more. Oh yeah, and its great when you really get into the playing and you start bouncing that sofa. lol!

I bought my first ever uku yesterday. been playing acoustic rhythm guitar for only 6 months, but now worried as I have played the uke for 8 hours since buying it!
FANTASTIC INFO - JUST SPENT A FEW MINS WATCHING AND MY UKE PLAYING IS OK - need more please if you can find the time and inclination
