Tigers and Reptiles - Interaction in Wild.
Some have questioned the reliability of tigress killing 20 feet python. Here is the actual source for that from the book "Tiger by Stephen Mills",

Honestly the battle between the tigeress and the croc. I've heard that it raged for over an hour. But if that's what happened chances are the croc was so stressed out and over worked that it built up lactic acid in its system and it built up to a lethal level killing the croc. The one flaw in crocodile design. If it wasn't for that i think the tigeress would be hard pressed to kill the croc by severing it's spine. Lots of amor and muscle to get through

@humbertojimmy, pound for pound the feline has the advantage. Tigers normaly kills snakes in the jungle that is the reason pythons in india are so agressive.. its cause the are alweys hunted by tigers and leopards. a 20Ft snake could easly be killed by a experienced tiger, now its not sure the tiger would try to kill it aswell.. after all they are predators and not stupid.

I like Tigers. But make no mistake. A large croc can make short work of any big cat inside the water. Can you imagine a tiger against Gustave in the river?
