The song Christmas Dream performed by the late Perry Como. Video uses
Christmas decorations to illustrate song words and sentiments. The Christmas tree and star symbolize the Christmas Dream of peace, love, warmth, and tranquility. A number of the photos are from Disneyworld in Tokyo.

  • @jmcdsoze

"An end to the crying, the shouting, the dying. . ."

Maybe we could all take the lyrics to heart? Hope you had a great holiday.

  • Ulysses. The comment I made about Perry being old and sick at the time of the recording, I learned from an interview with Andrew lloyd webber, who was saying it was an honour for Perry to sing his music. I also said that it was beautifuly sung and all you can pick up on is the fact that it was 1973 and he was not sick, and then call me a moron. The word idiot springs to mind.

  • @jonathanturk I think you're right about Hamburg. Haven't watched the movie in a while, myself... just got an old copy off a VHS rental tape from the 80's. Definitely a good enough movie to upgrade to DVD!

  • @MKIVWWI I think that was Hamburg (noy Berlin).

  • Perry Como was very good. Somewhat over shadowed by the Frank Sinatras, Tony Bennets and Dean Martins of the era but definitely a great performer.

  • Um... Perry Como was NOT old and sick when he sang this song! This was 1973, moron!

  • Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this is what chritmas is all about. Perry Como was very old and sick when he sung this song and you would never know it. beautifuly written and beautifuly sung. The best Christmas song ive ever heard.

  • @MKIVWWI Fabulous film , I've watched it so many times, but watched the opening credits a million times more just to listen to the song :)
