You should change the tags to NEVER hitting women. The tag hitting women can confuse non Arabic speakers

Allah himself is most kind. A Quran follower husband is kind to wife and wife to husband, It is not restricted to wife. Quran ordain kindness at several places. I quote 2:263, 4:36,
"Kind speech and forgiveness is better than charity followed by injury; and Allah is Self-sufficient, Forbearing"
".. Be kind to your parents, relatives, orphans, the destitute, your near and distant neighbors, your companions, wayfarers, dependents. God does not love the proud and arrogant"
C 16:90 also.
