  • Did you changed color of LEDs? mine is lights white :O

  • i think that your LEDs are turned off thats why they are white

even when they are off light leaks through them from the screen so it appears that there is white lights coming out of them

check to see if you have the LEDs on

  • whats the battery life length??? please respond

  • the battery life of this particular laptop isnt very good because it only has a 6 cell battery and it only lasts about 1 hr 30 mins to around 1 hr 50 min but that is only if you have it in high performance mode other wise you can have it in power saving which will slightly increase the battery life but not that much

but the newer models come with a 9 cell battery so that should last longer than this model

  • nope the second display will not work

xp doesnt have a driver for it

  • I will be receiving my A2 version this week, I have one question I hope you reply,

how reliable are the LED lights on the back? like do they fail after 5-6 months or after a slight fall or a hit or something? I keep getting this nightmare of those lights failing..

  • well im not sure how reliable they are because ive only had my laptop for about 6 months now and nothing has gone wrong with them. Im pretty sure that they are built well and should last for a long time. But overall i think the build quality of this laptop is very good and that the LED lights should not go out or get damage at all.

  • i think this is the ceapest model of this laptop, mine dell inspiron 1520(2008q3) came with a t7250,8600m gt(256mb, tho after 256mb of vram it shows that it could use another 256mb of ram),160gb,2gb

  • Is it a backlit keyboard?

  • System Reserved space is to blame for that... you should be smarter than that cmon! YOUR A DAMN ASIAN AND A CRACKA KNOWS MORE THAN YOU!

  • @busterbdragon I believe he was stating what color he made his -.- if you switch them off. THEY ARE OFF... no light shining through lolz

  • where is ur vid about webcam ??!?

  • It has two partitions because 1 is used for the OS and the other for you files. This is done to increase speed by keeping you OS files separate from your files. I would recommend making the OS partition smaller though.

  • can you still use the other half of the hardrive to save stuff on it if the other half is full

  • It's not "I guess the other half of the hdd is over here". It absolutely is, but you do realize that you can merge the partition right? Having a smaller partition with the crucial data would be a much greater idea for storage seeing as you don't absolutely need a replica data of your hard disk.

  • Your specs probably average better. Y'know, taking other factors in consideration rather than just the memory.
