They have 3 studio albums & sold out MSG in under a week..
Murphy is also the co-founder of DFA Records. I'd say he's quite well-known.

james murphy's vocals remind of smokey robinson or curtis mayfield. Sounds retro soul. never heard of him until I saw the movie and heard the song in he closing credits. definitely gonna check out more of his music. he should be more popular than he is. hope he puts out more music like this.
