It's funny. 15 years ago I remember thinking that I wish there were a word for not transgendered. I'm guessing the word existed then.

They should do what they want, all I'm saying is that because cis people are the expected norm, they should expect people to assume that they're cis.

And by that you mean a transman shouldn't be able to describe himself as a man, because that would mean he's erronously discribing himself as cis?

When using the term "Man", it should refer to either cis or trans men, just as it can describe white or black men.

In addition, a transman shouldn't be forced to identify specifically as trans just because people might come to the assumption that he's cis. It really doesn't matter, and it's really no one's business.

I generally agree with what's said in this video, but given that transgender people are quite a small percentage of the population, I don't see it as unreasonable to assume that one is referring to a normal male when using the word "man."
