@ReaninLove They love to play rough, and they will let you know if you are playing too rough, because they measure the level of their bite with the level of your play. If you are too rough they will bite hard, without breaking the skin, and/or let out a little squeal.

That's cause they're hardy animals.
When playing, of course, ferrets naturally play with each other by biting and jumping on each other, and they're not gentle! And if my ferret can repeatedly throw himself off every high place and still retain some form of coherency, a little pushing and poking won't bother them :3
