HI Luckeelaydee57 - The song is "Halcyon and On and On" by Orbital from their album Orbital II. I also played a newer version of this song in my second class at HoopCon, called "It's a Fine Day (remix)" by Kirsty Hawkshaw from her album Meta-message. I love this song and all the various versions. Kirsty Hawkshaw was originally in a group called Opus 3 that did this song called "It's a Fine Day" - check out all the yummy versions of the song!

This hoop is made from 3/4" 100PSI polyethelyne pipe. You're probobly using poly pipe also, PVC pipe is not normally used for hoops. Poly pipe is the high grade irrigation tubing. I have various hoops in all sizes from big to small and 1/2" to 1" & 100Psi or 160 PSI. My preference is now 1/2" or 3/4" 100PSI, but I think it's better to start heavier and bigger, and slowly progress smaller, unless you are doing a lot of handwork or offthebody movements. Thanks for your comment!
