hi ive got a 11 month old persian and shes a snow white cat and she gets wery dirty. can i wash her in my shower? do i need shampoo? and its winter but my room is warm so can i wash her in the winter and spring months thankyou <3 =3

I have 2 persian kittens around 8 weeks old and today I gave one of them a bath. My poor kitty hated it! And she scratched me all over, I wish mine would be as calm as yours. Next time il get them professionally groomed, I can't go through that again! Lol

Wow! I have always had persians in my house,my mom always gets them xD Is it ok to bathe them if thier not kittens? I wouldnt think they would like it and they have claws because thier older.?

@alexisannquirk Yes, it is ok to bathe older persians as well. But you are right, they do not like it very much! I leave that task to the groomer! I really only take them to the groomer once or twice a year. Adult persians pretty much groom themselves well enough that they don't need baths unless they get in to something and make a mess.
