  • I was In love with Petula Clark when I was about 12 years old. Seriously, my sisters teased me and my parents were a little concerned.

  • theres nothing wrong in being in love with a beautiful woman

  • popular music from half a century ago compared to today's popular female artists.. lady gaga... Oh my god what has the world come to.

  • what a phenomenal performer she is. Most of the 60 starz singing on TV look scared to death.. she's one hell of a great singer and performer

  • they say all singers sang live on the sullivan show, not too sure about that

  • My heart belongs to M Appeal...Always will but Petula is second.... Have always loved her..Took a lot of flak for liking her back in the 1970s...

  • She still gets to me.

  • 1:20-1:23 absolutely love her eyes and the come here motion with her fingers.

  • I wonder if her voice would be a natural for the wall of sound type music . Maybe if she sang Be my Baby? Not trying to change her great music. The 60's was full of talented musicians!

  • Dear Whathoney73:

I was in the same state of mind when I was 10 (1966). I doubt anyone will disagree with me when I say Ms. Clark is definitely easy on the eyes!

  • @MrMansterdawg

The song is about the 'Cavern Club'.

  • This song, if you listen to the lyrics, seems like a sequel to Downtown.

  • i fell so hard for this lady i thought she was beautiful and i loved her songs I was only a kid but i remember her so well!!

  • A pleasant and peppy song that has held up through all these years. I still have the LP that contains that song.
