Well man, I know where you are coming from but it's what I want. Joined the Marine Corps infantry. And while I may be sad to leave it's going to be worth it. It will be worth it to instill discipline and confidence in myself and have traits that I can carry with myself forever. It may not be for everyone but It's what I want and I'm willing to put up with the shit to have that.

don't do it man unless u have no choice trust me dude the work u will have to put out is ten times what it would take to just go to school and make something for urself...ive wanted to be in the military my whole life now im in and i would do anything to e a civilian again as would 50-80% of the rest of us.some people love it though... from the way u sound i would say no go man best of luck to u can get out wit in the 1st 180 days for failure to adapt.its no joke man. 11b infantry ft bliss

as someone who is in, this is not the time to join the military unless you have individually no discipline or just really like structure, wars ending, garrison games are starting, find another job. also if this depresses you maybe you need not to come in.
