Protestant try to deminish our culture.they try to brain wash people by saying that vodou is evil.vodou is life, how can it be bad. Hypocrites,by the way jesus was'nt white with green eyes. The picture that's on your wall was the picture of michael angelo the artist. Do some research and you will found out, instead of been dictated with what the media want you to beleive.Ayiibobo!...
Technically, i may be wrong. But "Ayibobo" is like saying "Amen" within the vodou practice, but people throw it around so often that it isn't strictly restricted to religious purposes. That's what i was told.
I think in terms of folklore, the DR and Haiti have more in common than either country would like to admit.
BTW, not dissing Racine Barak, but i happen to think others like Azor and Wawa are better.
Wow Wow Wow. What an infectious rhythm? Madre de Dios, it sounds almost identical to our own musica floklorica (dominican) The rhythm and syncopations are simply heavenly. Wow, Thank you for this video! Also, what does Ayi Bobo mean? I'm just curious.
I used to take floklore dance when i was little since 8 to 10 and a didn't forget the steps.I used to practice at home when i left my dance school i made for cultural music i think.Stiil i didn't forget the steps. This music is really good for folklore workout. I like racine make your tummy and legs stay and shape.Try it you'll burn i lot of calories.
