@thecoolguy677 :) If you'd read the book jacket, you would have been informed about Ben's story being in narrative and Rose's story being that "picture that paints a thousand words" story. I hope you will try to enjoy it again... It's awesome creative work!!!

I absolutely *love* Brian Selznick's art! Discovered him first as I read books by Andrew Clements. I was thrilled when Mr Selznick came out with books of his own!!! "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" and "Wonderstruck" (which I am in the middle of reading) are so wonderfully, uniquely creative! Thank you, Mr Selznick, for putting so much work into these. They truly are masterpieces!!!

Thank you, Brian Selznick, for your sense of wonder! It must be wonderful to be a child and discover your stories for the first time! I loved HUGO as a book and as a film. Let's hope you have many more such wonder stories to tell!

Good book, my teacher is reading it at school now(: I love how it's 2 stories apart but meet at the end. Hugo Cabret was a good book as well, I read it last year. I enjoy Brian's drawings how he just draws with a pencil and shading it to make it dark then to light. Awesome book!
