You are watching a 5 part documentation of my first nutrient IV treatment therapy with my new ND, Dr. Erika Horowitz at San Francisco Natural Medicine. As of November 7th 2009 I will be going to this clinic once a week (Satrudays) to get IVs of amino acids and micronutrients that I am not able to get through diet alone due to anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and digestive/malaborption damage/distress. I will be getting a series of 10 treatments and at that point we will be doing follow up tests, weight check in, vitals, etc. to see how my first 10 treatments have helped and where to proceed. I will eventually be able to, and can't wait, meet all my nutritional needs from my raw food diet alone. I have done it in the past but then again was at a better place of health.

This series contains NUMBERS: weights, caloric intake, vitals and such. You will also see the IV line going in. I am not responsible for your triggers, you have been warned. This document is for educational purposes only. If you would like to use it for educational purposes then I ask that you ask my permission first. I will not be taking emails or multiple questions as I do not have the energy to do this and need to focus on my recovery. You get what you see in this 5 part series : )

This is NOT covered by insurance. However, we are going to try to work something out. I will keep you updated on that. Treatments cost $190 - $230 an IV - cost depends on how much IV I can tolerate per session... This is a major step in my recovery and me being serious about saving my own life. I give God all the glory for guiding me and giving me willpower to proceed. Thank you all for your support as well.

ALL COMMENTS MUST APPROVED BY ME FIRST. PLEASE BE PATIENT. All unsupportive or offensive comments will be deleted and user blocked, no exceptions.

  • I had to have two potassium drips when i went to the hospital for an overdose, it hurt like freakin hell. It's crazy how fast you can have a potassium deficiancy, i had only not eaten for 4 days when i needed that.

  • Well this is nothing like a potassium drip, this way more intense. I have lost count how many times I have had to go to the ER in the past for emergency survival potassium drips. They never hurt me but some people feel like they burn...I hope you are healing and do not need them anymore : ) Electrolytes flectuate daily. It can be one way one day and completely opposite the next. They are NEVER completely fluid and if some is doing things to hinder stability then it's imbalanced even more.

  • Aw, I had no idea you were this tiny. I am going to finish the series but I just wanted to wish you luck. I'll watch your second visit, I just wanted to see these vids first. Aw, your mom was there! So sweet!

  • Hi love, been awhile. I do not find it productive to call me tiny, please do not comment on my body size - thanks. We shouldn't be focusing on these sorts of things about one another - let's focus on the fact that my efforts in recovery are NOT tiny! Smile

  • I'm sorry. I guess people tend to react. I know it's triggering. I just want to see you happy and healthy to match! *hugs*

  • Please watch my latest video, I made it earlier... it's about how a lot of people here don't think well enough before they speak and offensive comments are made, etc. I know you don't mean to offend and if you know it's triggering then it's best to keep comments to onself, you know? doesn't benefit you, me or other viewers. I get upset when people knit pick at my body. I do not comment on theirs nor is that my intention and I am over here trying to heal... hugs

  • How are you today? I pray for you and wish you all the best in the world.

  • i love ur scarf :)

u are so beautiful, i'd never have enough courage to do that IV thingy and get well again

  • stick to, you honestly help me to keep going by the way you speak about raw and healthy foods, you get so excited about them and i love it! lol. I hope it's not rude to ask for you to pray for me, to finally be healthy, and maybe even happy, i'll pray for you too.

  • I hope I didn't seem negative now. I just didn't realize it was triggering until afterward, but it's takes time to learn to give thought to everything you say before you say it. For me at least.
