  • the reason so many of us don't like the title "christain band" is because it has become stereo typed, so when you say that they are a christian band people think they only sing about God over and over again. as you can prove by listening, he never once used the word and spoke of a topic of life differently than anyone thinks the stereo-typical christian would, so the band isn't a stereo-typical christian band.

  • faust was a man who made a deal with the devil, so that he could do his life over again, and have anything he ever wanted. midas was the guy who turned everthing 2 gold, hence all the gold refrences. =)

  • @MisscolorfulSox will sucribe to me and watch all my vidoe its a cool song rite

  • i FINALLY found this song again after so many months.

  • Is the picture moving O_o???

  • @smcda467 iv never seen them in concert :(, how were they????????

  • @maxxorrokks Thanks for the recommendation. I like hawk nelson - I've seen them in concert a few times too. But, I find switchfoot's lyrics so much more meaninful/inspiring and I like their style better than hawk nelson. Still, hawk nelson is a good bank - switchfoot is just my favorite!

  • @smcda467 check out hawk nelson, thier my favorite band, and ther similar to switchfoot, though also very different

  • I love these guys....my favorite band fo' sho'

  • "what was once routine is now the perfect joy"

    nice song to start over

  • When I first discovered Switchfoot and fell with their music . I didn't realize they were christian . when I did - I stopped listening to them , and after alot of thinking , I decided to "ignore" religious songs that don't speak to me . yet , they have alot of great songs ,that anyone could understand . and to this day , they are one of my favorite bands !

They sometimes sing about their beliefs , and it's fine . their music is clean , fun to listen to , and meaningful .

  • ok guys just because some of their songs has the word jesus in it or have biblical references doesnt mean the band is trying to brain wash you into be christian or something. loads of bands do this.
