It's almost hard for Westerners to believe that the Mystical Ninja has been around even shortly after the "Crash of 84'".

  • This is one of the best arcade classics i've ever played. So fun, artistic and, for those who like, so JAPANESE. Full of details of classic japanese culture.

  • Is it me, or do all the sprites look like they are moving paintings?

  • @TranceCore3 I was wandering about the same thing and I think you're right

  • This song was remixed in The Legend of the Mystical Ninja right? It sounds like the first stage in that game.

  • all your base fits with the background song

  • he was not Ninja,he was much like a Robin Hood character.

his existence had been held in doubt, but a missionary's document proved it.

he is unique in Japanese history

    Please refer to ''Ishikawa Goemon''

  • this game is awesome, i made a avatar from the smoking animation in the level transision. btw how kool is that guy just surfing of a wave

  • @HakuryuVision yah i played it. i loved the art style n music. its so japanese. im pretty sure mystical could do well in a game like muramasa

  • Did anyone else play Oboro Muramasa for the wii?

The creators should do a new coemon like this, with the art style they used for Oboro Muramasa.

  • @NinjaGhostScorpion

With the difference that Goemon DID exist.

  • Wow, Goremon looks alot different than he dose now. I was kinda expecting small and Blue Spikey hair, not like a fat Hobbit hahaha. but Mystical Ninja has been around since 1986? Damn hahaha

  • This seems to be running on the same hardware as Kicker and Yie Ar Kung-Fu - at the very least, it's not the Bubble System or GX400 because those have higher color palletes and SCC/FM Synth sound.
