Sz. Berlin 25kt Installation Footage May 2011

Live footage of playback of the 25kt installation soundtrack in the entrance tunnel of Tito's nuclear command bunker at Konjic. 25kt is a sonic simulation of a nuclear detonation in the vicinity of the Konjic bunker, which was designed to withstand a 25kt impact. 25kt was constructed from the sounds of the bunker itself: tunnel ambience, ventilation systems, door sounds and other samples were reworked intensively to produce the final effect. Each group visiting the bunker was exposed to a blast sequence as they entered and left the tunnel. In this footage a lost visitor wanders to the locked rear entrance with her ears covered, futilely seeking a way out.

NOTE: This version is presented as recorded, including the audio distortion caused by the high volumes in the tunnel. Mastered and other versions will follow.
