A little, male, green anole has laid claim to the handrail of some wooden steps and strongly defends his territory against any passers-by, including a little carpenter bee that just wants to sun itself and a skink that couldn't care less.
His intimidation tactics? Vigorous head-bobbing and displaying of his dewlap.
