  • @NenaGamer She's already talked about it. She went and saw the movie and said she could understand why young girls would be attracted to it since she thinks many young girls feel an attraction to vampires because they essentially capture the essence of an older lover - someone who is able to take care of them and guide them through life. If you're looking for her to say something either positive or negative about the story you're out of luck - she's far too diplomatic to get involved.

  • I am always amazed by Anne Rice's words. She is a brilliant.

  • totally in love with this woman just brilliant

It isn't a snub. In the case of some of her bisexual characters, such as her vampires, you can't really say that they're gay or bisexual. They have simply transcended simple lust for a specific gender and find beauty in everything, including the varying sexes.

  • Rice, you're great!!! I like your books!!!

  • "We are the monsters." I love that she draws that line to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein so directly & clearly. Surprised that she didn't read it until the '90's, and pleased! Just underlines the mythic quality of the theme of "the monster within" even more. It's a big part of what I love so much about Dexter, too.

  • PLEEASSSEE IM BEGGING YOUU.make another interview with the vampire.like a 2nd part.this is my FAVORITE movie EVER.

  • @id7701 Get over yourself. It's hot, when she writes about two women in her women? I think it adds to her charchters. Read the witching hour. . . when poor Charlotte seduces her father. . . and she get pregnant. I think their bisexuality is amazing and makes them very real and relatable. Heterosexual guys only like women, these aren't guys they're vampires. Does it bother you when a woman speaks about a man too?

  • And don't forget that these creatures of darkness are also drop dead stunningly gorgeous! Please excuse the pun!

  • vampires

  • Personally I would love to see 'Tale of the Body Thief' made into a motion picture. Although technically it is still considered a part of 'The Vampire Chronicles', it has an originality of it's own to do very well at the theaters,of course as long as it can stay true to the novel. David is one of my favorite characters, besides The Vampire Lestat. The dialogue between every character is the best! You know, Tarantino might actually be able to pull this movie off...hmm....
