On August 19th 2007, an oil tanker off the coast of Australia split in two, dumping 20,000 tons of crude oil.

Senator Collins, a member of the Australian Parliament, appeared on a TV news program to reassure the Australian public.

This actual interview is so funny, you'd swear it was a 'Saturday Night Live' or 'Monty Python' skit.

It just proves..... Once a politician, always a politician

  • I don't understand why these guys aren't cracking up

  • Once it is established that a person has talent, we legally claim them as our own. We only say they are from New Zealand, if it turns out they suck.

  • I think you will find John Clarke is "New Zealand" comedian living in Aussie

  • this is not a real interview.

This is the work of 2 Australian comedians who do a weekly satirical political skit on the ABC. Usually based around a real event of some description.

    John Clarke and Bryan Dawe.

John Clarke is always the one being interviewed.

if you search their names on Youtube, there are plenty more examples of their work.

  • OMG!! TOTALLY funny!!! This doesn't even have to be re-written for a SNL skit! LOL!!!
