By the way, it's A-si-lum. Not asilam. You can't even pronounce asylum and you think you have the life experience to tell people what to watch or rent. All the Asylum dvds I have are very clearly rated, also. They range from PG to 18A. "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus" is one of the most consistently hilarious and well executed films I have ever seen, and I have studied everything to do with film, George Melies, Cronenberg, Bergman, Dreyer, Tsukamoto, Renais, Billy Wilder... I could go on forever.

"Monster" was vastly more entertaining than "Cloverfield", which to any conscious human being was overwhelmingly obnoxious and stupid. "Monster" had some hilarious moments, some interesting process moments, a real curiosity factor, and the entire idea of being a really high concept parody of "Cloverfield". "Cloverfield" is merely an annoying, mindless commercial manipulation engine with a total lack of genuine inspiration. Asylum is a brilliant side effect of the banal studio system disease.

Day the Earth Stood Still (2008) - Vacuous remake. The Davinci Code - A bland movie based on a bland rip off novel. Death Race - Watered down remake. I am Legend - The THIRD direct version of the same movie, and easily the dumbest. Journey to the Canter of the Earth (2008), half a dozen version precede this drivel. And Dracula has been reworked dozens of times. While you get indignantly condemn rip offs.
