  • How is the Hyperblimp effected by a cross wind? I noticed the trees are quite still during your test.

  • The ship just crabs, quite like a plane.

  • Hey Daniel,

Another great video there, really excited about the possibilities. One question though - you mention haulage, yet I've not seen it carry anything. What's the load bearing capacity for a 23ft model?

    Cheers

  • I don't recall the lift on the 23 footer, but the 29 footer I'm using now is 1.5 pounds free lift.

  • F ing brilliant a little pricey for my blood though

  • Holy crap narration Batman! :)

WAY too much minutiae, too redundant, and irrelevant junk.. You should list categories and a few examples, not 10000 trifling variations on the same job. And lifting bodies are far more relevant for weight carrying..

Also look at Zeppelins for high aspect ratios, the advantages aren't unknown. The real advances are modern batteries, motors, and equipment, so a reasonably small high aspect one can carry what's needed..

  • What happens when it's relly windy?

  • Do you see problems in the design as it is scaled up in size?

  • how far can it go with it's radio control?

  • Do you control this with something? Is it just freely flying
