ever seen the following cross word puzzle clue: "never wave at a ____ (rosalind russell film)" ? well the answer is WAC, and this is the opening sequence to the movie in question.

this film is available on DVD from the critics' choice classic movie collection, under the title "rosalind russell double feature #1" (the other feature on the disc is "his girl friday". and we can only hope to dream that there will be a double feature #2 coming out soon.) if you like the clip shown here, you can purchase the DVD on amazon.

starring: rosalind russell, paul douglas, marie wilson & william ching

directed by norman z. mcleod, 1952

  • hi! sorry, i don't upload the roz films that are commercially available as DVDs. there are so few, but this is one of them. it was released as a double DVD with "his girl friday". anyway, that's why i only put a clip of it instead of the whole thing.

  • @RosalindRosebud I just bought this film on a single DVD.... maybe that is a recent release?

  • @dezinator i just looked it up on amazon, and yes, you are correct, it is now available on a single DVD. i bought mine a year before that single DVD came out.
