  • Seems to me the weight in essence tested a couple of things. not only was it a test of structural integrity but as well a function test. It's pitch axis was unaffected which means a heavy person wouldn't get stuck back in a climb...

  • sure I know that, but thechnically, the point s that are most exposed to the weight is where the chains are attached to the base construction

    so its weight has nothing to do with it
