JamPlay.com introduces a new instructor, Mark Kroos! In his Phase 2 series with us, Mark is going to teach you all about the style that he refers to as "Extreme Folk Guitar." Others commonly refer to this style as lap tapping. Popularized by artists such as Michael Hedges, Phil Keaggy, Kaki King and Trace Bundy, Mark brings insight and conceptual ideas to his teachings. Plus he's got a really insane double neck Ovation! To view the rest of the lessons in this series, visit us at www.jamplay.com

  • Are these available now?

  • @hangloose301 Lesson 1 through 3 is currently on the site. The remaining 25ish lessons will continue to stream in over the next month and a half as they are edited.

  • Is that a 12 string on top stringed with 6 strings?

  • @georizzo Yes. This was actually a borrowed guitar. He did not want to travel with his personal guitar, so he borrowed one from a local guitarist. Thus, the 12 string strung with only 6 strings.
