"Maybe" from Annie

This is me singing Annie. I just love this song i always have. so i decided to record myself singing it. little did i know it wasnt on sound recorder, it was on video. so you see my bed/floor/cellphone/wall and i spiffed it up a little. let me know what you think!

also if you comment i want you to guess how old i am. because my school is doing a production of Annie, and i'm a small girl so i have a chance for the part. my goal is to sound young.

i mess up the words at the end, and fix them in the middle of the word. lol
its kinda funny, its sounds like a record skipping.
oh and i could have better diction.

Even before I read your information, I was going to comment that your voice sounds too "adult" to play Annie but you have a very nice voice anyway. You sound like you're 15-20 years old.

I do professional theatre and I don't tell just anyone that they're good singers lol. Keep working hard to get on Broadway!

btw remember that the important part of the song is not the singing, but the emoting. Make sure to tell the story of this character. There are LOTS of people with beautiful voices- but what will make you stand out are your acting chops.
