@s7ai done and done lol actually I used an Associated super 370 motor, threw on a set of oil filled shocks, and used a zippy 7.4v 1800mah 40C lipo and it literally hauls!!

im thinking about buying one of these.... are there any drawbacks or issues with it? would you recommend it to anyone? Are there any things i should know about it before i buy it? Thanks and great video!

TTG Frog is an inexpensive sturdy RTR that can cope even with brushless @3s LiPo. First & foremost you have to check for spare parts availability. Search for dealers who have TTG parts in stock. Even if you don't break anything, at least the rear tires will wear down!
There is one part you'll have to change for better handling:
shocks/dampers (losi mini-t or tamiya CVA)
to make it faster put a BL-set or a good brushed motor in it - the stock motor is slow.

@chaddythepimp1973 mine was as good as new - but $60 is a good pricefor a new one! I recommend running it with a small (~800mah) 2s Lipo and a good brushed motor.
