I had this doll! I hated the thing sticking out of her head, it meant she could never wear her hair down.

I had this one and never managed to understand how that thing on her head worked :-D
Now I would try again, cos I still have that Barbie... If only at that time I didn't chop off that plastic bit I didn't know how to use :-S
Poor Barbie, her hair didn't have good luck in my hands :-(
Thank you for posting the advert, I can find just few in Italian and it's nice to see some things I used to love as a child :-)

@TwiggyMarshmallow its easy to have long hair, you just keep it in a braid or you could do what my teacher did and somehow put it in a bun, I still don't know how she did it. You just can't let it down and lean against a headboard thats really decrotive in iron and stuff, it's not pretty

I don't think I'll ever stop loving Barbies. Girls stopped loving Barbie dolls when I was in 3rd grade and they used to make fun of me :( I collect them now and have some pretty amazing ones and I stopped letting what other people think bother me :)
