США и Южной Осетии: Университет кибер видеосвязиT he first videoconference between students South-Ossetian State University and the University of South Florida Tampa (United States, Florida).
In addition to students in a rather unusual for South Ossetia, the event was attended by teachers from both schools. Co-hosted a TV bridge with the South Ossetian side was Vice-Rector ÛOGU Inna Tskhovrebova and from -United States citizen, Joe Mestas.. In addition, Ossetian students help lecturers of English Iryna Bekoeva and Varvelina Eduard Kokoity and their American peers-head of the Department of Foreign LANGUAGES at the University of South Florida Dr Victor Peppard.

Joe Mestas organized the cyberlink, he is married to a woman from the village of Dzau district of South Ossetia. American music in the Republic for several years, seems to have had time to learn everything. Moreover, Joe witnessing Georgian aggression 2004--2008, started in his home country to disseminate information about what is happening in South Ossetia. Because of the difference in time zones videoconference started at 7 p.m. Moscow time, Florida was 11 o'clock in the morning.

International tour began with stories about their cities, schools, hobbies, breaking national traditions and customs. It came, and the history of the Ossetian people. As it turned out, the American public continues to persist information vacuum on South Ossetia. Actually, the lack of information on South Ossetia and the resulting interest became one of the causes of the involvement of American students in TV spacebridge. Knowledge of American students is mainly limited by the fact of war 2008 event which, of course, couldn't pass by the attention of students of the two countries.

As noted by students, not the ÛOGU war, Russia and Georgia. "War has started at a time when nobody expected because a few hours before the President Saakashvili appeared on television and declared a comprehensive ceasefire. People have believed, but that night the war began. From Tskhinval was only one road-Transkam that leads to North Ossetia. Most of the civilians were killed there when trying to escape from the city, escape from the war. For three days, residents of Tskhinval defended themselves, and only three days later, Russian troops entered the city and saved us, "he told the students of South Ossetia.

American youth were shown photographs of South Ossetia before and after the war, 2008, this destruction, etc. Restoration of the Republic also became a topic of discussion.

The TV bridge with u.s. students triggered a positive response to the public, was marked by a good level of English students of foreign languages. The TV has become an example of how modern technologies can bring to international public opinion the truth about the events of 2008 and now lives in South Ossetia.
