Penn State Law Professor and Director of Penn State's Institute for Sports Law, Policy, and Research is as an antitrust expert in the world of sports. He gives his unique perspective on the dissolution of NFLPA and the antitrust suit Brady v. NFL. Ross researches the design of sports leagues and is a scholar of U.S. antitrust law. He has provided expert testimony on antitrust issues in the sports arena to governmental entities in the U.S. and Canada and has consulted on sports league design for professional sports organizations in ice hockey, cricket, and motorcycle racing. He co-authored the 2008 book Fans of the World Unite: A (Capitalist) Manifesto for Sports Consumers with Stefan Szymanski.
