2nd track on Talk Shows one and only album.

Band Info:
Talk Show was an American alternative/hard rock band consisting of Dave Coutts (vocals), Dean DeLeo (guitar), Robert DeLeo (bass), and Eric Kretz (drums). The group was essentially Stone Temple Pilots with Coutts (formerly of the band Ten Inch Men) taking the place of Scott Weiland, who was, around this time, working on solo material and struggling with drug addiction.
Talk Show released their self-titled (and only) album on Atlantic Records in September 1997. Despite positive reviews and supporting tours with the Foo Fighters and Aerosmith, the album's sales were disappointing and deemed a commercial failure. With the lackluster sales, the DeLeos and Kretz re-emerged with Weiland as Stone Temple Pilots once again.

  • @runthemachine Yup. Crowd ruined it...I was dying to see what STP would be like without Scott Weiland, but the crowd drowned out most of the set. Foo Fighters were great - it was the 90's, so no stadiums yet!

  • @1978Reject Dude..... that musta sucked. I know that when this album came out, I would have went to see a Talk Show show in a NY minute. Now, I guess I'm hearing that I wouldn't have been able to enjoy the show if I wanted to!

    Shitty. =/

  • I saw Talk Show open up for the Foo Fighters in NYC, and the crowd ruined their set by chanting "WEILAND! WEILAND! WEILAND!!" Throwing shit @ the singer, etc... It was a shame, their set was AWESOME, and most of the crowd missed it.

  • @luckymincer Scott is a good singer i will give him that.But to say that he is Stp is absurd you're not giving the other members the credit that they deserve for being great.

  • @Gustavo3575 I most definitely agree with you about that.Although i love Stone Temple Pilots, i think that the rest of the members should have moved on without Scott Weiland.. Due to all the stuff they have had to go through due to his substance abuse problems.

  • STP when Scott was strung out and incoherent.

  • Dave Coutts is not bad, but it's not great either. The most remarkable thing about Talk Show is the music. The DeLeos, plus Eric Kretz, are just fucking great doing music together, with or without Scott Weiland.

  • I think Talk Show and Army of Anyone just to to show how much fans relate to the frontman, more than they do to the rest of the band. I think Velvet Revolver was a bit of an exception because Slash is so recognizable. No slam on any band or singer, just stating an opinion. That being said, I would give up a year of my life to see Army of Anyone put out new material.

  • @luckymincer I GUESS I hear what you're screamin', but... seriously?? No legs?? Without Scott, the DeLeos are... 'decent'?? wtf?... you're shitting me, right?? I s'pose I can agree with your stance that without Scott's "drama & issues" there is no STP. I mean, Scott certainly embodies STP.. but it sounds like you're saying that withOUT Scott, the Deleos are merely... mediocre?? Wow.

    And Army of Anyone... does Richard not bring his OWN "drama & issues"? And Ray Luzier is WAY more than "cred". Wow

  • @runthemachine Actually, Scott is STP without him, his drama, his issues STP would be ...Talk Show ...a decent band w/ a OK song and no legs what so ever. You know if they the band took off they would have dumped Scott. As far as Army of Anyone goes great album with an artist with cred. Much like velvet revolver. Now I'm sure the lead singer of Talk Show is happy for his moment in the sun but get real he sounds like someone doing stp Kareoke in a dive bar in Encino
