  • 1. Yes lane sharing is legal.

    2. I am riding with my high beam on, so that I will be more visible to others.

  • Good job on the commute. You're a good rider because you have your head on a swivel. This shows others good technique, as you're always doing mirror checks and shoulder checks. When you share lanes, you do it at a reasonable and prudent speed.

  • I just love this video.Starting from Market St. through Cow Hollow to bridge approach eastbound to bridge on Hwy 80.Over western suspension span of bridge through Treasure Island/Yreba Buena tunnel, over eastside cantilever span, past toll plaza nearing Port of Oakland and onto 580 eastbound.Hey,I used to do this ride daily. This video brings back lots of memories.I know,I used to be a bridge painter in the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge. Thanks much for video!

  • Typical Californian on a motorcyclist squeezing through traffic wanting to crash!

  • I think it's always been legal in California...only state in the country to allow it.

  • Thanks for a great ride! (And what a bridge!)

  • cant wait to see videos of the new bridge 5 years from now

  • sometimes if you look into the areas of construction when you drive by you see fucking huge rats

  • man motorcycles r fuckin crazy dude, u definatly dont wanna fuck up or u ass'll die lol!

  • Is lane splitting now legal in California? It's allowed here in Europe when passing only a few kph faster than vehicles being passed. I don't routinely do so. The reasons were reenforced yesterday when a motorcyclist in my hometown died while lane splitting between two trucks doing just 45kph. The motorcyclist bumped a truck, lost control, and fell with one truck riding over his head. There's no place I have to get to quickly enough to risk that and I certainly don't need the thrill of dying.

  • This highway is actually 3000 miles long. It starts here and ends in NYC
