@twiztidsnooky what a dumb thing to say. sci fi is fantasy, not science. joss whedon's shows work with what people really care about- which is the relationships between characters. it just happens to be set in outer space, in the future.

@ghullieman Firefly is not beast. It is, in fact, the worst sci-fi show in the history of the genre. I don't understand how anyone could like it unless they know nothing about how science fiction is supposed to work. They get all the science so so very wrong in that show it's unbelievable.

I wonder what Kevin Smith's deal is with Firefly. I'm guessing it's probably that he has some beef with Whedon. Smith has problems with lots of people for what seem like insignificant reasons.

@titansupes Yes. This is average for him. And his movies are hilarious watch Dogma and try not to think it's genius.

I hate Kevin Smiths movies...but love his interviews/lectures (whatever these things are). But this is the first one I've seen where I've thought 'Whoah, ease up on the language there, big fella.'
