Rush Mission - Multi-Nation Virtual Band Cover/Collaboration

Rush really created a masterpiece with this song with its beautiful melody and intricate timing during the mid-section, all finished off with a passionate guitar solo from Alex that sets off a tingle at the back of the neck.

This is a cover of Mission, from the 1987 album, Hold Your Fire. It was made by the co-ordinated effort of five musicians spread over four different countries and two continents, Canada, The Netherlands, the UK and the USA.

Although we realise we will never be able to completely emulate the fantastic music produced by the source of our inspiration (Rush), we sincerely hope you enjoy our cover and that it also inspires you to go out and buy the CD and/or pick up an instrument and learn the song for yourself.

This is definitely an inspirational video. "Mission" is a favorite song of mine from Hold Your Fire. Anyone that needs inspiration to learn some Rush songs, then this is the video for you.

Really impressed here. I was doubtful being a lifelong fan. I'm not 100% sure your vocals are right for it, but you have a great voice. No offense meant at all. I think it's my Geddy snob coming out. :) I generally abhor Rush cover bands, but you guys got through my defenses!! Congrats!
