This country was never intended to be a christian country it was formed as a secular country (treaty of tripoli) "in god we trust "and "under god" was added in the last century and was not there at the beginning! I have no problem with christians that don't try to force their way into my public space or legislate beliefs on others with bully tactics, dont expect others to tolerate you when you have no tolerance, you will recieve the treatment and intolerance you dish out 10 fold!

@GeneralHoohah Laws can be changed very easy. 1999 California might as well have legalized marijuana.
Laws mean shit to me. I break them all the time....I just don't give a shit. And State and Church aren't seperate everywhere yet numbnuts. Thats just the law you're thinking about, not actual communities and cities.

Surely the 'Ten Commandments' are/is like the law of gravity that operates in the physical realm of reality! They will never be done away with, and that's for sure!

@PhantomGhost007 I agree, We ought to always obey all the light God gives us, our self effort can never save us by commending ourselves to God to save us because we THINK we have kept all God's law, if you break the least comm'd it's like you broke all, because ALL have a death penalty attached. This is why we needed the safety net of Jesus who is God and kept the law for us and paid the penalty. The laws penalty can never touch us because it is nailed to the cross. READ Colssians 2:14-15

@jesuspeed Look at how crazy this person is... wanting to actually FORCE people, which would most likely escalate to violence, abuse, or even torture, to believe what he/she believes. This kind of behavior is taught from birth by religious extremists. THIS is what's wrong with the world right now and this is why I firmly believe that the human race will NEVER evolve intellectually as a species until they put the violent and brutal history of religion behind them.

@GeneralHoohah Laws can be changed, many laws in this nation are counter to God's laws and this nation will pay for it...such as murder of babies...no one is forcing religion on you, if you want to be God-free, don't try to stop those that have the right to express themselves in this country and promote Jesus and righteousness.

@GeneralHoohah The gospel of Jesus Christ is a life and death love message from God, you are fighting against God and you, sir, will pay the consequences, as you violate the highest law in the universe. If you repent and believe on and receive Jesus as Savior, you can receive the free gift of eternal life and be born again of the Spirit of the Living God or die in spiritual darkness wondering what happened.
