Mark Ronson & Friends live in NYC, 07/11/07

DJ and producer Mark Ronson premieres his live show with the tight knit group of musos who've collaborated with him on his new album. This being a New York crowd, there were expectations of special (as in famous) guests like Lily Allen or Amy Winehouse. Which would've been nice, maybe, but had that been the case, we would've missed out on singer Tawiah absolutely devastating the crowd with her version of "Valerie", the stage dive in the middle of the show, and the placing of a note onstage by a fan -- which one of his singers snaps up -- are crazy moments from an already spirited night. 'You gotta give it up to this team for getting out of the studio and hitting the road. We'll be posting up part two of this, including an in-studio interview with Mark, and more performances from this night in just a minute. Performances are filmed in a single take
