  • AAH, CHOICE!!! I remember seeing the numbers in 80 in Sydney.

Annalise came up and had a natter to us after the gig and talked for a while, signed autographs etc,she was pretty cool. Then we went to McDonalds on Broadway and one of us threw a strawberry thickshake all over the front window.Next thing,we were being chased by the paddywagon through the fuckin' subway! We spent the next hour being drilled by the Surry Hills coppers about it.Aah, the punk days!CLASSIC TEEN MEMORIES!!!

  • We desperately need someone to upload five letter word

  • @brismike65 No disrespect to Suzi but I can understand Annalisse being insulted by the comparison.

If both musicians had been male there is no way anyone would have lumped them in the same category.

  • @jamsmash481 yeah your names ironic they played 2 jam covers that night at the savers,,,thats your family no kiddin i hope there travellin well,,,

  • @jamsmash481 You should be very proud. Absolutely brilliant

  • Looking back and being proud of my father and aunt.

  • Oh thanks I remembered Big Beat and Five Letter Word but forgot this. I do have to say on Wonder World Annalise was asked about Suzi Quatro and said something not nice. Well Suzi has outlasted you. Having said that, I wish the Numbers would reform.

  • Thanks for posting this. I saw them once live. I think it may have been at the SAN MIGUEL in Cammeray. Loved this song then and now.

  • seen em at the bondi lifesavers new years eve 80-81,,found out they had tues night gig at the civic,,went to that show religiously,,the vids and albums they put out were nothin on who they really were,,annalise and her brother would emerge from the back of the room and just fuc in rip the joint to shreds,,the drummer was also fit as,,i,ve done and seen alot of shit but those nights will be etched in my mind as highlights of my life,,,still got the single with the yellow cover, annalise u icon

  • @chrismcginness666 i think i was there

  • @superstoogeburger ahhh, your story brings back fond memories of tribal sydney and all the fun nights in the city, so much music, so many venues...

  • Ah yes ..Blactown's finest The Numbers...pair this with Unguarded moment from the The Church and you got some pretty good rock pop

  • I remember seeing this band supporting The Romantics at a pub gig in Adelaide, I was really impressed. A couple of weeks later at the Duran Duran concert, they were also the support act, I can still remember the strange looks I got cheering their songs while everyone else was waiting for the main act

  • I wanted so much to look like the chic in this band when I was 13 - can anyone tell me what happened to Annelise after she left this band? Is she a grandmother now - did she leave the music industry .. or?

  • Saw them at The Flicks in Manly about '81 - my crush has almost faded....!!!

  • Excellent!

  • A Masterpiece!!! A band much loved and still relevent. Today's lip-synced fodder pales in comparison!! My God! Is it nearly 30 years? Wherever you guys are, lots of love and thanks.

  • Where is that woman now?? Saw them at the Manning Bar, Syd Uni. a long time ago.

  • what a memory! the forest inn at bexley was my local. the numbers were awesome annalise is hot. dont fprget dee minor and the dischords

  • Great song and top power punk band - pity the album never captured the live sound - I followed them from the Civic to Bexley to the Antler - Analise was so absolutely hot, I'm sure I dreamed about her. Bought the albums ob CD recently - great stuff.

  • my pleasure ;-)

  • Thankyou for FLW Crankinhaus
