Cancelled my Health Insurance, Now I May Have Cervical Cancer: A Mother of Four's Regrets

Stacy is a single mother of four who recently received a diagnosis saying she may have Cervical Cancer. She cancelled her Health Insurance policy a few months ago due to financial reasons.The irony is that Stacy has a license to sell health insurance and knew the importance of it. Trusting in her youth and health she went without it. Now, doctor's have been unnecessarily delaying their diagnosis and exams and she feels by the time a doctor realizes the severity of her condition it will be too late. She cannot afford treatment without facing financial catastrophe and getting health insurance with this diagnosis pending is near impossible. She wishes she had kept her insurance when she was healthy and advises others to be careful and do the same.
